When my friend Tamara was getting ready to move away from Nashville, she was trying to hang out with various friends one last time, usually in conjunction with her “stuff I wanna do before I leave” list of activities around town (basically a bucket list, but with less death). She reached out to me and said that she wanted to do a photo session, since she’d never done one before. Of course I was more than happy to do that; get some more shots for my portfolio and spend time with a good friend? Duh.
She picked three distinct outfits and we wandered around Centennial Park, shooting at various spots. The first two were normal outfits for her, but for the third, she wanted to mix it up a bit and do something a bit more androgynous. I’m thrilled with the results; they are hands-down my favorite shots of the day.
